Dr. Francis: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what discussions she has had with Welsh Assembly Ministers and Ministers of other devolved administrations to ensure that appropriate funding is made available throughout the UK to encourage the promotion of the shift from cars to cycling. [189212]

Ms Rosie Winterton: DfT Ministers have had no such meetings but they are in regular contact with Ministers in the devolved administrations about a range of issues. Decisions on local transport issues are a devolved matter.
