Minister to Visit Beautiful Afan Valley

A Welsh Office Minister will visit the Afan Valley next month.
Aberavon MP, Dr Hywel Francis said today,
"The Welsh Office Minister, Hugh Irranca-Davies will visit the Upper Afan Valley in September. This is as a result of questions I asked in Parliament about the importance of supporting the growth of a successful economy in the Upper Afan Valley, particularly in Leisure and Tourism."
Dr Francis added,
"My concern has always been that a massive and inappropriate expansion of Wind-farms in the locality is insensitive, inappropriate and undemocratic."
"The Minister, I know, will listen and learn and recognise the beauty of the Valley and the strength of feeling in local communities. The Afan Valley deserves to be recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty."
