Aberavon MP Lends His Support to ‘Time to Get Equal Week’

Aberavon MP, Dr Hywel Francis, has given his backing to Time to Get Equal Week, Monday 8th - Sunday 14th June. Time to Get Equal Week aims to bring people together to support Scope’s vision of equality for disabled people: a future in which disabled people have the same opportunities and lifestyle choices as everyone else.
Scope is working with disabled people across England and Wales to support them to raise awareness of the issues that matter to them locally.
Dr Francis said,
“As MP for Aberavon, I would like to encourage disabled people in my Constituency to make contact with me if they would like to raise any issues they are concerned about.”
“I believe that as an MP, I have a vital role in helping to remove the barriers that prevent many disabled people from becoming actively involved in their local communities.”
