MP backs Remploy Petition

Aberavon MP Dr Hywel Francis who is part of the campaign to save Remploy factories which employ disabled workers will the supporting of the delivery of a petition to 10 Downing Street on Monday.
Dr Francis said,
‘I shall be going to Downing Street next week to back the petition to save all the UK Remploy factories. One Remploy worker is cycling from Burnley to London and he will be with us at the handing over of the petition.
Many thousands of signatures have been collected in my constituency of Aberavon backing the excellent Remploy plant at Baglan which is doing an outstanding job in providing quality jobs for disabled people.
I fully support the GMB and Unite campaign to safeguard Remploy jobs and I have already submitted my views to the Government review.
