MP Welcomes new rail station

Aberavon MP, Dr Hywel Francis has warmly welcomed the news that plans for the new Port Talbot rail station are about to be unveiled.
He said,
‘I am delighted that plans for the new Port Talbot railway station which I campaigned for are now being unveiled. I am particularly pleased that this will include lifts with step-free access to help the disabled, the elderly and young families.
The thousands of people who signed my petition, disabled groups, community groups and the Aberavon Labour Party along with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and the Welsh Assembly Government all deserve praise for working together to achieve this success.’
